FOREST CITY, Iowa -- Winnebago Industries Inc. has announced the promotion of Steve Mary to the position of service district manager.
In his new position, Mary is assisting Winnebago, Itasca and ERA dealers in building strong service and parts operations with an emphasis on efficiency and customer satisfaction, as well as recommending and promoting training for service and parts personnel. Mary will provide technical and service support to Winnebago Industries dealers in the central U.S., from Texas to the central provinces of Canada.
Mary joined Winnebago Industries in 2004 as an electrician in the Commercial Vehicle Division and was promoted to the position of service administrator in the Owner Relations department in May 2005. In the Owner Relations position, he assisted dealers and owners with technical questions concerning motor homes. Previous experience with Winnebago includes working as a senior model builder in the model shop, a technician in the Shipout department, as well as serving in the motor home plant, sawmill and the weldshop areas. Other prior work experience includes Alternative Services in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
A native of Hayfield, Iowa, Mary earned an associate of arts degree from North Iowa Area Community College, Mason City, Iowa, and a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Northern Iowa, Cedar Falls, Iowa. Mary also served in the United States Army for three years.
Mary will be relocating to Texas.
