RVIA Board adopts carb phase 2 formaldehyde time line
(July 2, 2009) The RVIA Board of Directors unanimously approved a recommendation submitted by its Standards Steering Committee to adopt the CARB Phase 2 formaldehyde regulation implementation timeline as a membership requirement.

Medium Density Fiberboard (MDF) – Phase 2 "0.11" Emission Level Implementation date is January 1, 2011 with All Certified beginning July 1, 2012.

Thin MDF – Phase 2 "0.13" Emission Level Implementation date is January 1, 2012 with All Certified beginning July 1, 2013.

Hardwood Plywood – Composite Core (HWPW-CC) – Phase 2 "0.05" Emission Level Implementation date is July 1, 2012 with All Certified beginning January 1, 2014.
